Supported Signature Formats

AdES module for the SignServer seamlessly integrates the DSS framework libraries within the standard interfaces of the Validation Workers. Therefore, it is possible to achieve the same signature formats and compliance level.

Supported formats for validation​

The following documents / data are supported in the validation process:

  • XML format (XAdES format)
  • CMS format (CAdES format)
  • PDF format (PADES format)
  • base64url encoded content (JAdES compact format)
  • JSON format (JAdES serialization formats)
  • ASiC with XAdES containers
  • ASiC with CAdES containers
  • CMS timestamps provided alone
